Senior Project Idea

We have senior project this semester, and it looks like it will have to be programming based. The group consists of four people. 2 of us are networking guys, 1 a web guy (has taking basic courses, and just started his first class in PHP), and the last guy says he knows C++.

Considering we do not really have a strong programmer, any ideas on a project we could do for this class?

The contents of the semester long project are below, all of the non programming material is fine we can split that up amongst the non programmers, but in terms of programming I am looking for a feasible idea that could be done by one person doing the programming which can be a solution to some problem.

I was thinking a mobile app, not sure how difficult that is - What do you guys think?
