Okay so I'm doing a small project for my computer science class but this is not a 'do my homework for me'.
My question is, can an element in a 2D array represent an individual record that could be saved to a file later? In my form I have 60 buttons (It's a theater seat booking system) with each button representing a seat containing specific variable values. What I'd like is to have multiple files for different dates, with each file containing the record from each array element with extra information such as customer name, price and other such things? Is it possible?
I've only done Visual Basic for less than two years and while I have experience in file handling techniques and arrays I've never had to combine their functionality, I realize some of you may ask why don't I simple import a database, but it is not in the marks criteria rendering it fruitless. Internet searches so far has proved fruitless. Any help appreciated.
