need help understanding level file

I'm reading this slick 2d tutorial:
http://slick.cokeandcode.com/wiki/doku.php?id=03_-_slickout
In the section : " Level structure on the file " you can see, that the author shows this type:
ObjectName| [TYPE]; [PATH]; [TYPE_OPTIONS]|PositionX, Position Y| [COLLISION_TYPE]; [COLLISION_SHAPE]; [COLLISION_SHAPE_OPTIONS] | R,G,B; hits

But what is that type options? I saw in description, that Image doesn't have any options, but animation has tw, th and loop and it's represents tiles horizontally and vertically. Can anyone here could translate it into the human speech?

And what about collision type? I see near circle 1 and near rectangle 2. What it means? It is only seperators?

And last question, why near IMAGE type of object, the last parameters has only x, y pos and width, height. Near the ANIMATION, I can see more than 4 parameters? What all they mean?

Sorry, these questions can look silly, but I'm quite new to this, and I haven't worked with animations before, I read something about them, but not so much.
